However, this does give the highlights of at least the direct line of my ancestors.

My main lines of interest include: COLLIN, DYET, FOSTER, JUDD, MAULE, FISHER, NELSON, and MISKEW.

The Collin family traces our origins to a Nicholas Collin living in 1400 in Essex, England. We stayed there for the next 500 years, when the last manor was sold by my grandfather. During the late 1800's, we started to move further afield. This was mostly as a great number of my ancestors were Church of England priests, who were sent to various parts of England. Finally, my father (and I) came to Canada in 1959. As I am English-Scottish, and my wife is Ukrainian-Welsh, our daughter is all Canadian! And yes, I have eaten perogies for supper while dressed in my kilt!
